I lost my Blackberry Leap today, I have managed to send the wipe command through Blackberry Protect but does anybody know if this would wipe the media card? Stupidly he phone was not passworded, what happens if the wipe command is sent but the phone provider has already blocked the sim? Does the wipe command need a phone signal?

I don't think it wipes the media card.

It only need to be connected to the Internet, either mobile data or WiFi.

Now that you've sent a wipe command, that's it, you can't retrieve it anymore.
