I have a friend that when she tries to add an email adress to her curve 8330, gets a reply that an address already exist's. But she doesnt recall ever setting up an address on her device. when she sends an email from her phone it says it came from her yahoo account. Any suggestions would be appreciated. She wants her "blackberry" address but can't get one.

Same sort of thing happened to my wife. She had her BB email address but didnt use it for so long that it apparently got recycled and someone else now has it. Its either that or she hasnt jumped on the VZW BIS site and changed devices yet.

She has only had her phone for a little over a month now, she say's she never set up a BB addy.

Sounds like she is triying to set up an email address that someone else already own's.

It tells her she already has a BB addy on her device.
