Looks like it is GOOD to own Blackberry
- WikiLeaks Vault 7 drop today ...
CIA has been infecting iPhones since 2008 with snooper malware!
And the virus tool is almost certainly installed in the FACTORIES before the iPhones are shipped.
Apple's Mac computers are even worse for this stuff. You can re-install the OS and it's STILL infected.
Guess it's good to have BB.

- I'd love to agree with you and to a certain point I do. I believe BlackBerry is superior to Apple when it comes to security. But that was BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10... Now with Android, I'm not so sure, its google and it will always be google.
The YearZero release from wikileaks was just 1% according to their twitter account. So perhaps with this DarkMatter release its a few more.
Ill wait for what they have on google. But I'm sure glad I never used and never will use an Apple productjmr1015 likes this.03-23-17 04:34 PMLike 1 -

- Makes you wonder why there was such a fuss over the FBI getting inside that locked phone if they could have just used the CIA to give them the information.03-23-17 10:06 PMLike 0
- Yeah that San Bernardino iPhone 5c, that is exactly what I said to my buddy when we talked about this today. So it makes me wonder if all the information we're getting is even accurate.03-23-17 10:35 PMLike 0

- Apple, Google, microsoft are all a joke. They are just servants of the security state and prove that the conspiracy theories were not theories.
They were/are reality.
They've lost any shame.
They supposedly have the brightest minds in the world and pay them the highest salaries yet get hacked by a government employee, or collude with the government to spy on everyone in their backyard and in the world.
Then, when that is repeatedly revealed and confirmed to be true, all they have to say is that they fixed it a few years ago...as if anyone believes them anymore.
Incompetence and collusion reign supreme..

Posted via CB1003-24-17 12:14 PMLike 3 - I have, but even that is more honest than saying you don't collaborate with the government security agencies while having a CIA guy on the production line making sure all iphones and macbooks come well endowed.
That was practiced in communist Eastern Europe when every factory, every research institute, every school and every university had its own security officers making sure everyone towed the line and defended the conquests of socialism and communism.
Besides, Lazaridis was kicked out and Chen brought in partly because he didn't want to give access to the various governments which demanded it.
I watched his interview on BBC World News in 2012 live.
He is an honest guy.
I don't think it's a conspiracy theory anymore that BlackBerry was sabotaged (besides sabotaging itself) also for this reason and this is also the reason why Chen, an IT security advisor to Obama, was brought in.
You cannot be the world number one superpower without fully controlling the internet.

I watched a show on the Discovery Channel about a couple of college professors... tracking some swap version of Bigfoot. Doesn't mean that I'm convinced there is such a thing... Even if there is, live and let live.03-24-17 01:23 PMLike 0 -

The problem with disclosures like this is that they're rarely if ever pertinent to current devices/software. They're more relevant as a historical record than a security report. Of course, when they are relevant fixes come down a little later, but still.shaleem likes this.03-24-17 01:32 PMLike 1 -
Maybe you should publish your new logic formalism...
Sure, just like Apple, which didn't explain why they allowed the CIA to install the malware directly in the Apple factories on every iphone, you think that using exclamations and emoticons dismisses it as if it never happened.
It's kind of ridiculous to watch the same people here spend a lot of effort to put lipstick on the security agencies and their Silicon Valley collaborators.
Unfortunately for you, Apple, Google and the like did not deny it.
They confirmed it and tried to minimize it.
Other than El Presidente Trump (and even in his case it is arguable), I would argue that none of the previous US presidents ran on a platform in which they clearly stated that, if elected, they were going to issue everyone in US and elsewhere in the world with CIA-approved permanent monitoring laptops, tablets and cellphones for which hardware and associated data plans they would have to pay themselves.
But maybe you can point us to an article or statement from the CIA or US government that proves that CIA didn't do what Wikileaks disclosed and Apple confirmed.
So far, all I have seen was confirmation and dissatisfaction of being revealed and lamentation that they have been compromised, as if somebody voted for them to spy on everyone and everything.

But look man, I understand guys like you need articles like this.
Run with it and flourish!
Google and Apple did not deny it, we are doomed!03-24-17 02:29 PMLike 2 - You are jumping to conclusions. You used the word logic while writing exclamations and emoticons.
I explained that I understand why they are doing it and I have explained that before, whether you like it or not.
If you want to be the world number one superpower, you have to control the internet.
If you don't, others will.
I am also not saying that blackberry's OS is more secure now than any of the others.
So calm down, I am not promoting BB10 over IoS or Android or Windows.
They are all compromised and so the powers at be want them to be.

I never said anything about BB security, nor did I accuse you of promoting BB10 over iOS or Google or Windows.
Interesting that you jumped to all this, yet earlier you were placing a lot of emphasis on Apple and Google bot denying it.
