When I listen to podcasts, audiobooks or longer audio, I wanted to know how to save your place. When I close file manager or the music app, I want to mark the place in the audio file. Is this possible?

I use the Storyteller app for audio books. It will save and resume from your last position for multiple books at a time...

What about podcasts in mp3 format?

I only use it for that very same issue regarding audio books. I want to come back to where I left off. Sorry, I do not have an all-in-one solution for every medium. I kinda doubt that you will. Maybe others can recommend something for the other mediums you mentioned.

    Good luck!

Worst case, take a screenshot, and name it, add to Remember app if you like...

Not very elegant, but low tech and it works, haha... :-)

(Kindle app or Amazon cloud reader on the web remembers last page / position...)

for podcasts, are you using a specific app or just the Music player?

i use bPod for getting and listening to podcasts and its bookmark feature will work just how you want.

There are 3rd party music apps that let you. I have one in mind, but I forget it's name. It's quite popular however I uninstalled it because it had too many options for me. I prefer a simple music player

The standard music player stops where you left off and resumes when you use it again. If these are mp3 files I'm sure this will work for you. Of course this is on 10.3 build.

I listen to DJ sets 2-3 hours long and this is one awesome feature I love.

If you close out of the app, then reopen the app the audio file will start from the beginning.
