I've tried searching this and haven't been able to find anything.

I am sending an email newsletter to a blackberry, and a particular auto generated link is pretty lengthy.

I *think* it is actually cutting off characters at the end and causing errors. If I run the link through bit.ly, and then send it to a blackberry it works.

So, is there a limit to the number of characters that can be in a link in an email?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
