I have an 8830 with Sprint. A couple of days ago, seemingly for no reason at all, the keyboard and trackball began malfunctioning.
When I click the trackball down to select something, it translates to a # sign. When I hit the M key, it translates to 25. N becomes 4. B becomes 33. Several other keys, mostly on the right side of the keyboard, randomly malfunction.
This happens every now and then and lasts anywhere from a couple of minutes to several hours. Then it goes back to normal.
Anyone have any insight on what could be going on? Is this a hardware, firmware, or server issue? Please help!
