    Hi.

As you may know, Blackberry keeps disconnecting and connecting with GPRS when you use apps like GMail, Google Sync, Opera and so on. It results in every packet being rounded up so instead of paying for ie. 2KB, I have to pay full packet price for 100KB.

Is there maybe a way or an app that could prevent such behavior? I just want it to keep my GPRS connection alive and stable all the time so it doesn't disconnect over and over again.

    Thanks for help!

    Hi,

Have you found a solution for this problem? I'm on the same boat.

    Hi,

I have found a solution (not the best) for this problem.

If I launch LogicMail and connect to a imap account I have then I exit the app leaving it on the background it stays connected to the imap server (so I think) or at least it doesn't close the connection.

Then I lauch Gmail and now I can spend every 100kb .

Is there a free, auto-start app that does keep the gprs connection alive as LogicMail?

    Regards,
