really don't think RIM should become American, because that would just screw with Their business culture. If you look at the news you would find that Harper is pushing our.banking system to other countries. Why? Because due t the conservative nature of our banking system we avoided the worst of the depression and we are now out of the economic crisis. Most of our companies are like that, in that they don't give into the latest and supposedly greatest until it is more proven and refined. Sure, RIM could get off their asses and make a device that would put the most powerful phone out there to shame, but it will cost you $1000, have one hour of standby battery life, and gives you the white screen of death constantly until it snaps in half.
