Hello everyone! I'm VERY new to the bb scene and I'm still trying to get used to my new phone, but I have a question. I was testing the wi-fi connection, and now the symbol for the wifi is constantly on my screen. How do I get rid of it? someone help plz! :confused:
That symbol I belive just let's you know Wi-fi is avalible I belive, I am not sure if you can turn it off

really? it wasn't there before. lol. i just really don't like seeing symbols on my screen. well thanks for the help!
Go into the Connection Manager and de-select WiFi.
You just have to remember this is not your typical cell phone so your going to have more status symbols then just a signal bar.

sorry guys - where is the connection manager at? LOL. my big sister was the one who gave me this phone and she doesn't have the manual or anything so basically i am on my own on this one.
