Level 1 messaging that is? Or can it be used for SMS?

Been reading but could not find where that question has not been answered. If it has, please direct me.

    TIA

Set a high importance level for received PIN messages
    1. In a message list, press the Menu key.
    2. Click Options.
    3. Click General Options.
    4. Set the Make PIN Messages Level 1 field to Yes.
    5. Press the Menu key.
    6. Click Save.
    ...
Level 1 is an optional setting you can make for BlackBerry Messenger PIN messages only.

As far as I can tell, the only difference is the ability to use a custom notifier in Profiles. You can make the vibrate and sound setting different from email or SMS messages.

In addition to Pin Messages, you can use a filter to forward Emails as Level 1 messages. You set those filters up using Desktop Manager. I use that feature to flag emails from my boss, for example. They show up Red in the Messages folder. You can't forward SMS as Level 1.
