Itunes and Blackberry
I have a buddy who is heavily invested in itunes, and the entire apple scene. He has several macs, apple tv, ipads, iphone. Anything apple this guy has it - drives me nuts lol.
Anyway we were recently discussing bb10 and he was impressed and asked about how well itunes works on blackberrys.
I couldn't really give him an answer since I don't use itunes (despite trying to use an iphone myself). I know I've seen an app for the playbook. I'm pretty sure desktop manager would allow you to sync content but again I'm not sure.
Can you do it wirelessly from a PC/mac, do you need cloud storage?
Can anyone shed some light on to the current apps/process to share content? - 11-26-2012, 06:18 AM #2
You can definitely import music/video from iTunes, via desktop manager and then to bb. Other than that iTunes don't really work on blackberries, as they don't work on anything else but on iPhone/iPod/iPad.
If your buddy is heavily invested into apple ecosystems he needs to know that won't be able to use any of the apps he purchased from iTunes/AppStore on a Blackberry. - 11-26-2012, 07:12 AM

Music from iTunes can be listened on on a BlackBerry provided there are no DRMs on the songs. (Apple stopped having DRMs on iTunes songs in 2009.)
Movies from iTunes cannot be watched on a BlackBerry. - 11-26-2012, 11:06 AM #5Sent from my jail cell using a corrupt prison warden

I would be very surprised if weren't possible to download protection-free movies. I know after much customer chagrin Apple did relent and began providing DRM-free music, so movies in my mind are a logical extension. It would be--to use a term often thrown around here--a deal breaker

So there is a highly rated Playbook/ Blackberry phone app that wierlessly syncs your iTunes library to your device. . .Buy iTunes Sync - Download iTunes Sync - Buy Apps from BlackBerry App World. . .The developer has expressed that he will be making the app available for the BB10 release. . . There is also a iTunes video sync app Buy iTunes Video Sync - Download iTunes Video Sync - Buy Apps from BlackBerry App World but I'm not sure about what plan there are for its availability on BB10 . . .you can definitely check out the dev's Software blog . . .or just PM him right here on Crackberry! http://forums.crackberry.com/members...igham-2955125/
