    hey fella's, just got a quick question, im on a data plan and i live in canada, when travelling to the states, how does the data work exactly, specifically in terms of BBM, im assuming its roaming, anyone know the charge (rate) for this?

    any help is much appreciated, thanks

    That would be a question best asked of your carrier as it will vary depending on your service plan. The info you want is on the page below in the light gray foot notes.

    U.S. roaming is $0.006 per KB and international roaming is $0.03 per KB when you subscribe to a Data plan. If you subscribe to a Flex rate data plan, the U. S. roaming is $3 per MB and international roaming is $0.03 per KB". If you subscribe to unlimited on-device browsing rate, both the U. S. roaming and international roaming is $0.03 per KB.
    Outside of North America data usage is rounded up to the next 20KB.
    That is actualy $6 Mb in the US and $30 Mb when you are out of North America.

    BlackBerry Messenger uses a tiny amount of data. Roaming in the US, the granularity is 1 Kb. You can send or receive over 1,000 messages of typical length, for less then $6.00. Best of all, that is $6.00 CDN.
