EXCELLENT read and great points. Although I really think now with the Amazon app store deal, the ecosystem problem is not really an issue any more - at least for the core type of user that BB is going for. The average 13 year old kid with braces, who uses an iPhone and plays a million games etc, can't get a lot of those without google play, true - but BlackBerry is not going for that aspect of the consumer market, period.

Wow amazing article.. but very similar to my own experience so far with the passport. I didn't even get this reaction with my red z10. Time to buy some stock$$$$

I don't fully agree with the whole need Google play their is only one app that I want that I can't have. So I just get on with life. But I liked the statement

"Apple and Android solutions are good at many things, but great at nothing. Their phones are for the communized masses."

And I don't agree with the z10 being an iPhone wannabe. The problem was BlackBerry released. An unfinished os, late phones. The whole PlayBook fiasco. Bad bad advertising. Put themselves up for sale BlackBerry 10 never really got a fair shot. And the z10 and q10 never got a chance. I wonder what night have been if. The z10 was launched with 10.2. And on Time. The z10 is an awesome phone. And I wouldn't trade it for any iPhone.
