insert sim card
my blackberry will not work, it's asking that i insert sim card, i have a sim card inserted, but still nothing!!!!!

Also, try the SIM card in another device to see if it's the SIM itself or your phone.

Check for dark deposits (carbon) on the contacts. Use a pencil eraser to gently rub them off. Sim cards do eventually go bad. How old is yours?
