I'll keep my 9810 until next year
I'm really encouraged about what I've seen from BBRY and the Zed10. I'm confident that the Blackberry 10 phones will mature and iterate into amazing tools for getting things done.
That being said, I have yet to be convinced that I should give up my 9810 for a BB10 phone. Many of the current shortcomings can be addressed with software updates so I plan to keep an eye on the maturation process. Other shortcomings (like the camera) may not be addressed until the next generation of phones.
I'm happy with my 9810 for now and am willing to wait for the BB10 phones to hit their stride.
I will be absorbing all of the information from those that take the plunge and share their experiences. Hopefully, I'll find enough reason to 'trade up'.

If the 9810 keeps you happy then go for it. My 9860 died a couple days ago (micro usb issue) and now im back to my old 9800, its slow and old and beat up, but still works. That said, my white Z10 is coming tuesday and I couldn't be more excited

Hey, if the 9810 keeps you happy, nothing wrong in sticking with it. But remember that the Q10 actually has more screen real-estate than the 9810 and has a better physical keyboard and new OS.
all smartphones are tools.
android = 48pc tool set (you"ll eventually find the tool you need, but some assembly required)
iphone = swiss army knife (most of the tools you need in a small, simple to use package)
blackberry = adjustable wrench (sometimes all you need is a wrench)
windows phone = bionic wrench (its different....but it works) - 02-01-2013, 12:01 PM

I'm actually leaning toward the Z10 over the Q10 form factor. Maybe the Z11?

Being an old f*rt (I'm not called TechFossil for nothin') I've learned some patience. I want my next phone to be best in class. That means updated BB10 (not 1.0) on great hardware (no crappy cameras). So I patiently wait. If I was unhappy with my Torch or it took a swim in the commode, a Z10 phone it would be ASAP.

I'm with you, but I'll pick up a Z10 and keep my Torch 9810 handy as a "companion device" when I really want a mouse (trackpad) and keyboard on my Z10 :-)
I'll get the BB10 slider OR a 5+ inch "Phablet" version having 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 screen (respectively) on their launch day.Z10 running 10.1 on Virgin Mobile Canada, PlayBook 64 GB
Also own and have lots of experience with:
iPod Touch 4, iPad 3, Asus Transformer Infinity, Dell Streak 7, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Asus Nexus 7, Dell Venue Pro (WP7.5).
Have used Android and iOS phone as main phone for months at a time, but always return to BB.
