    Can I connect to the Internet on my modem at home from my phone without paying extra for an Internet plan with my carrier?

    Yes, you can, I do just that with my Tmob 8320. However some third party apps, like gmail for blackberry, won't work through the WiFi

    I wish I'd gotten the Curve with WiFi then. That's the only reason I can think of that I'd ever need it.
