    It is safer in the sense your device is less prone to attacks as all other platforms.

    True security comes from BES.

    iMessage is encrypted end to end, how is BBM safer or as safe?

    I think this idea of encryption is miss understood. Yes if you have the software tools to de crypt devices you can view messages but you have to know the pin or keys of the device you want get info from. Governments I am sure has the ability to demand these keys/pins but for an average person you will have to give them you pin/key for them to know what device to spoof.
