Does anyone know how or of it is even possible to convert a picture of an icon that has been saved into an emoticon on the symbol board or into auto text? I've asked my blackberry phone tech to no avail. I've tried without success to cut/paste/save to auto text as well. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

I don't know if what you are asking is possible. But when you compose a text and click the emoticon list it shows text shortcuts that work here on CB and I would imagine work elsewhere too. Happy hunting. (: and D)

what you can do is create a new auto text so that when you type a certain combination of letters a symbol shows up, for instance in BBM I have "bb" to show up as the blackberry symbol. hope I helped
