Well I think it looks really cool and has a unique design.. there are definitely many more concepts out there.. but I prefer this one over the playbook look alike concept..
those "extensions" being bigger without adding function you can be assured would contain internal components, so they do ad function, just not screen estate.
Though I don't like the device at all, and really hope I wont have one of them in my pile of phones
I have a feeling it could be the limited edition dev one, but I keep hearing how people don't like it, I get many people have different opinions but is there a really worthy reason for it, the colour? the corners? I think it is quite nice.

Of course they contain components, that goes without saying. What I am getting at is I believe, and I could be wrong, that the screen is the #1 selling point of today's phones. Why have a larger phone with a smaller screen? I think that design would be a huge negative in drawing people to blackberry. The masses will ultimately decide.
I have always viewed this design as what a Porsche Design P'9981 would look like in a touchscreen package. Given how hideous a phone I consider the P'9981 I can't offer an even slightly charitable opinion of this one.
I hate to be Debbie Downer but this phone looks boring and lazy. Looks too much like a Droid. If you remove the bezel and give it more detail then we're talking.
BB needs something that will impress & blow everyone away. Something original and unique.
I like the all black one better than the one with silver. The black one looks sleek and cool. Black. Understated. Something a business man or woman would use. Would work with the Goth crowd, too.

Really, I really like the porsche phone, looks expensive...
