This past weekend I was visiting my parents for the 4th of July. Although my parents have known that I got a new BlackBerry, they had no idea how much I loved it. So we're eating breakfast Saturday morning, and of course, I have BlackBerry in hand. Quote from my father, "Good grief, you live on that thing!" A light shone on my Curve. The trumpets sounded. At this instance, I knew. I knew I was officially addicted!
LOL, my husband gets mad too. He always says, "Get off that phone!" LOL
Glad to know someone else gets harassed. I feel guilty sometimes and have to make myself put it down to gets things done at home.
I am trying not to show addictive behavior but the darn thing is so entertaining!
I had my moment about a month ago, what a feeling. I was fooling around with blackberry so much my girlfriend got pissed and stormed out the room....Feeling a bit guilty, I walked out and tried to calm her down. she was on fire though. Saying, "all you do is spend hours a day on that stupid thing" ,(OH NO!) i felt it coming on, nobody calls my BB a "stupid thing" I said "If you only knew how awesome this stupid thing is" (Uh OH). She quickly jolted back in her smarta*s ways and said "maybe if you got me one I would know" now that was it IU was really stuck like chuck and I wasn't going to win this argument(she had a broken down phone from like 2005, buttons were missing this thing was a wreck). At that point I had no choice, similiarly to 49 ways trumpets sounding my horns rang out and a idea popped into my head (like a lightbulb going off) I thought "maybe i can salvage whats left of me before she ripps the other half apart and I can just get her a phone"....I sprang into action I got the phone, installed new OS4.5 , put a cute little picture of us on the backround, set a custom mushy ringtone and message tone, put my pin on BB messenger, installed a cute little custom theme and held my breathe as i handed it to her.... HELLELUJAH! the BB gods sang out in the backround as the phone was passed from my hand to hers in slow motion, the light radiated from the phone. All my time and effort had gone into this dam thing, and as she took it and walked off I thought Whew! glad that's over...Since then our relationship hasn't been the same salvaged by the BB god's, she loves her phone and now she spends hours a day on it so I have my freetime to! it worked out for the best, and by far the greatest thing I have ever bought....I had a BB addiction and not only do I still have it but it rubbed off on my girlfriend, YES!!!
My wife made me turn my BB off when I came home from work yesterday. I went into withdrawl and almost lost it on her. I bought her one this morning (8330) and she has used it for 2 hours and has phoned me already to say sorry. BBs are worse then heroin.
