I'm indifferent to the physical keyboard but I will more than likely get the Classic Q20 to experiment with. Who knows I might end up liking it.

My Q5 is my first physical keyboard, and I love it! Can't believe I spent all of those years not knowing how good it is...lol. Zed10 has an awesome keyboard as well. Better than anything on Android. So glad that I own both devices!

Before Z10, I hated virtual keyboards after Z10 and Z30 I can't go back full time to keyboards, I still have and use my Bold hybrid daily , but it's not because I must have a keyboard.

Typing on touch screen in a moving car and the cold is challenging. Will definitely check the Q20 out.

I definitely don't think physical keyboards are of the past. I use my Q10 daily and kept my Bold 9900 for back-up, and I LOVE those phones because of the keyboards. Don't get me wrong, I tried an all-touchscreen phone for a year to give it a chance, but I just couldn't do it anymore. I simply prefer the experience of a physical keyboard on my phone.

OP, you're not alone. I, too, love the physical keyboard. The reasons are:
1. True tactile and auditory feedback
2. Better accuracy without autocorrect
3. Possibility of no-look typing
4. Ability to use keyboard shortcuts
5. The intangibles (it's somehow magical! )

I'm having a hard time deciding. I've got a q10 and a z10. And I really like them both a lot. I like the bigger screen size of the z10 and there's some apps on the z10 that are not available on the q10. But I also like the small size of the q10 it's so easy to carry around and use one handed. And I love the keyboard shortcuts. My sim card is going to be wore out from switching back and forth. Lol
