I was having dinner Saturday night at the keg, (I know, WTF), there were two girls next to me, one had an iPhone and the other a Z10. It was funny to see the girl with the iPhone had both hands on her phone, while the girl with the Z was one handing it and a fork in the other.

Saw a guy on the Marc with a Q10 made it a point to sit in the seat ahead of his. Turned around and held up my Q10 while motioning to his and asked 'how do you like it" he nodded and smiled saying it's nice.
Later in the ride I turned again and asked if he was on the CrackBerry website , attempting to spark some form of brotherhood.
He said what's that.
I was dying to show him what he was in store for because I'd just loaded 10.2 and was super excited about toast notifications.
I cut my losses when it hit me, maybe this guy is thinking I'm trying to pick him up.

I had a iPhone near launch, and nobody had one, or so it seemed. It wasn't till 2010 that they started showing up in my circles.
I'm not surprised that Blackberrys are not that visible yet.

I live in Massachusetts as well (western Ma) and have yet to see any BB10 device in the wild. It's Apple country where I live.

You know, I like seeing this type thread but it always feels like a double edged word.
It's great to see our beloved device being used by others. But just the fact that we 'get' excited when we see another BlackBerry kinda feels like we know we're a dying breed, and seeing another is like a small personal victory inside.

I see a q10 and 9900 almost everyday in nyc. I see it so often I stopped paying attention. I see a z10 every once in a while on long Island.

I'm an avid Bostonian BlackBerry user and see BB use all around the city, from Massachusetts General Hospital, Fenway Park, Abe & Louies, MBTA etc. Haven't seen many (Z10's or Z30's) on the south shore. We business and personal users in Boston rock BB10 and other BB users ALWAYS come up to me and ask about my Z10 which I love and works great for me!
