I need help with my bluetooth i can connect to other but others cant connect to me its so annoying! i mainly use bluetooth to transfer mp3s and pics.

change your bluetooth settings for making your device discoverable to "on" ... I'm kind of a newb but I think this'll work.

but then i get a server error message when i try to send a file .. ??

I have the same issue trying to move files from my curve to my wifes pearl. I get an error. Seems pretty consistant but I have not persued as I do not use the feature much. Interested in the answer though.
