It's a z10, t-mobile branded, being used on t-mobile, just got it and just did a security wipe, it also wasn't there before the security wipe, and it's 10.2.1. What gives?

-.- I know this but why don't I have one? I read BlackBerry added it after an update. I'm not sure if the os is the official one or not, I bought it on the marketplace. It's 10.2.1.2156.

It's possible that the previous owner was tinkering with the OS and deleted that particular file. I'd pm him/her and ask.

He said he didn't mess with the os at all, he said he deleted files hub icon manually by long holding and hitting the X. But I did a wipe, like I mentioned above, and it still wasn't there afterwards.

That's great but I did a wipe and the hub wasn't there. So I want to know why because it's suppose to be there is it not? And I'm also having an issue retrieving mms. So I wanna know if there's something up.

I deleted the hub icon on my Z10. Couple months later I did a wipe and it was there again. Maybe just try doing the wipe again? Also make sure you have the latest OS installed.

Actually some other weird stuff happened. The current software release on my phone is. 2156 and I checked software updates and it found an available one, .2156. So, wtf, I don't what's going on. I'm thinking about doing something to reset my phone to factory and putting the latest official update, but I want to do everything official like going to BlackBerrys website or something. Can anyone help, please?

If I read you correctly you bought a used device, do a security a wipe and try an OTA reload of the OS, don't use link you may have an issue with the previous version. You need to go on wifi to do so ,if not you will incur additional data charges. Goodluck. We don't know what the previous owner did with the device so a wipe and reload should fix your issues. Go into settings after the wipe and look for Software updates, click there and allow the device to do its thing.

I've never had the hub icon, and I'm on the latest update release (10.2.1.2102) on Orange UK.
