What do you use your BB for? I like the track pad of the 8520 and I don't use the camera on my 8900, so it would be great for me but everyone is in a different situation.

Yeah, you need a full body coverage case and insurance.

Why didn't you stay with the Tour? Did the trackball fail?

Anyway, I use a Curve 8330 and was going to upgrade to the Tour but decided to stay with this one at least until Christmas. I think its a really good device that hasn't given me much trouble.

But, I did have the 8900 briefly and thought it was really nice. If I were still on AT&T I'd probably get that one again.

Here are the few things I consider with BB devices:

    1. Form Factor: touch, flip, or traditional bar-style BB.

    2. Keyboard: SureType, Curve-style (space between keys), or 8830/Bold keyboard (keys bunched up together and angled).

    3. Memory/Processor/Data Speeds

These are the things I look at, because I've also had several BB devices. Each device has its advantages, so it's never easy to decide.

    Good Luck!
