They advertise the peek feature as letting you be able to peek at the hub when the led flashes so you don't necessarily have to stop what you're doing if it's not something important, but it's not accurate because all you really see is where you last left off in the hub ie the last email you viewed, meaning you have to fully commit and view the last email, go back to the hub main view and then see why the led is flashing. There needs to be a setting so that the hub reverts back to the main hub view once you leave from viewing an email or message , I know it's not that important, but not having this option defeats the purpose of peek.

It's been mentioned many times in the numerous threads.

They should really have an option that enables users to "Auto close all emails when peeking"

I've gotten used to always closing my emails now so when I peek over, I can see what message I just got.

Actually, I noticed that I rarely even peek anymore. I just swipe into the hub to check the message since it's so fast and fluid, and then I'm back into my app. I'm of course no power user. A couple of emails and texts through out the day.

Yeah agree with the op. It's a pretty big flaw with hub considering that the whole peek and hub gesture was one of their most important marketing ploys.. haha still best phone regardless though

The peek actually looks like this. In the scenario that you get a LED / Vibrate / Sound alert whilst you are doing something, and you want to know the nature of what has come in, you PEEK. You don't swipe up fully to minimize the Active Frame. When I took the screenshot, I remained in CB.

Edit: Think of this as the first level of peek: (1) Peek at Notifications

To help further explain this, make sure to hold down on the screen with your thumb when you use Peek. Then you can either go back to your current app or check your Hub, by sliding back down (current app) or the right (Hub).

Have swiped all the way up to minimize CB in this example. This is (2) Peeking further into the Hub.
