Default HTC's Flagship "M7" Leaked Device Very Similar to Z10!

Hey everyone, just came across this on MobileSyrup. It is a leak of the new HTC Flagship device the "M7"...

I guess RIM is creating a path for the future of mobile devices because this new HTC device looks strangely familiar to the BB10 Z10 device being launched shortly! I guess companies are starting to realize gestures is the future and more intuitive, and also just looks at the hardware itself. The large screen with the top and bottom pieces (the white in this link) looks IDENTICAL to the styling of the Z10!

    Slab of glass.
Dont think Z10 was the first to come in that design...
Plus where are you getting gestures from? If thats an Android device gestures arent going to be a feature the way they will for BB10.

lol those cheeky beggers, they always have to have an android alternative to everything just to stop you going to another platform i suppose

so far the jiayu g3 (chinese phone running on android) and the htc m7 are almost identical

RIMs the only one with any originality left and not just with design, software too (and we havent even seen the official release). Apples been coming out withe same thing for over 5 years, android and their OEMs are just an apple ripping off them and nokias phone hasnt changed for a couple years, yet they are sticking behind it and if this HTC phone is real it looks like Nokia isn't the only one they are copying.

I'm sorry but what was that about Nokia copying? What phone exactly did they copy from?

He mentioned HTC obviously got "inspired" by Nokia for their latest Windows Phone 8 devices.

if those grills are speakers, your thumbs are going to muffle them when you've got the phone in a landscape position to play games or watch a movie

Now you know we've turned a major corner if folks now see HTC copying RIM with regards to slab devices.

Given that most smart phones are mostly rectangular prisms with a rectangular screen in the middle, there isn't very much you can do to make it look different.

Agreed.. I would say it looks at least as much like the iphone5 as it does like the z10.. there's really only so different any slab of glass with speakers can be..

It is hauntingly reminiscent of a flatscreen TV, no?

how hard is it to not mess up the microphone and earpiece? It looks like someone took a needle and stabbed the top and bottom pieces a bunch of times.

all this does is show that maybe RIM the Giant has finally awoken from slumber and the pretenders to the throne have taken note...good thing no?
