I have a BB Bold on Rogers, wife has a Pearl Flip on Bell. BIS customers.
I use my calendar religiously, and would like to be able to put an entry into my calendar and either bluetooth it or messenger it or somehow transmit it to my wife and she accepts it and *poof* it shows up in her calendar, either as the same entry, or "husband: appointment...." (would actually be handy if it automatically specified who the originator if the appointment was).
The solution you are talking about is BlackBerry Unite which has been discontinued by RIM. You might be able to still find a copy of the download in the forums here, http://forums.crackberry.com/f98/

There is no longer support for it.
I would not even suggest that. With the added policy it locks up the phone, and causes all kinds of problems. This is the reason they have removed it and not continued support and dev.
Yes I would stay away from unite. Google sync does seem to be a popular solution. I dont use it though. I just create an appointment and invite attendee. Shes accepts and there you go.
