Hi,

I am a total newbie.

Yesterday I got an unlocked 9650 Bold Verizon BB and my Prepaid T-Mobile card works in it. I can make calls and I'm happy to keep my old number.

But how can I upgrade my prepaid SIM to do more than call/text and enable my BB to also go online? Do I have to buy a new Sim card? Can I add data services to my Sim card?

Call TMobile and change to a plan that includes BlackBerry Data. You probably will be able to keep the same SIM card.

I had an unlocked Verizon Wireless Storm 9550 that worked fine with a Tmobile prepaid sim. You can use all of the Blackberry features because Tmobile has a prepaid Blackberry plan which you can add to your account online or by calling customer care. The only downside is I could only get EDGE not 3G...
