Hi guys,

Something strange happened.
I called a company today and got the usual voicemail saying 'press 1 for this, press 2 for this' etc.
So I pressed 2 on my 9700, but nothing happened. The voicemail at the other end of the line didnt receive my input. I pressed 2 like ten times, but it didnt receive.
Then I just use the same simcard calling the same number on another phone and it worked.
What is going on? Do I need to set something special on my BB ?

The touch tone just didn't respond correctly to register a response. If you heard the tone when you pressed the button then there's not much you can do on your end. Depending on the voicemail and company they may have a bunch of lines tied to 1 voicemail and 1 of the lines aren't working correctly would be my guess

Did you hear it "tone" when you hit (2)? If not, then it didn't register.

uh, no there was no tone.
But how to fix it? The defect is sure on the BB because I tested with another phone.

was the phone locked while you were on a call? sometimes I have to still unlock my phone while on a call to get the keys to work
