How often do you backup?

I personally perform a full device backup every three days and when I do the backup I back it up twice to separate locations JUST IN CASE!

I backup when I dl new apps or make significant changes to my os. Normally around once a week

I back up about once a month. I don't worry much about it because I sync daily to outlook and Gmail has everything else (I send all mail accounts to gmail).

What gets backed up when you do a backup?

Like Baroness said above, I sync with Outlook and my email is all through Gmail. So contacts are backed up.

I backup every day actually. Just have a bluetooth capable PC and have DM running all the time. once a day when i get within 30 ft of my PC, my device backs up.

All of the databases on your device (address book, calendar, tasks, memo pad, password keeper, etc etc) are backed up!! You can even back up third party apps if you follow this guide : http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/

Backup when I add or delete an App. And I do the other backup for the Apps too. Regardless, even if I were to lose an App I have the original install program on my PC so I can reinstall it.
I wonder if you have to defrag the memory in the phone where the OS resides?

Once a week on friday. And prior to doing anything that may require restoring my BB in the event something goes wrong. I just set a reminder in calendar so I don't forget to do the backup on friday.
