I am waiting on the first Canadian subscriber to check in.
I guess I'll be the 2nd Canadian to check in. Gotta say, I'm REALLY surprised at how high most of the monthly bills are that have been posted. While I admit that my monthly mins are probably lower than most, it's plenty for me. My details are below.
250 mins (EPP $17.30 + 50 bonus mins)
Unlimited E/W (starting at 6pm)
Free Telus to Telus
$15 Unlimited data (truly unlimited)
Free call display
Free voicemail
TOTAL: After taxes and fees.....$45/month
The only thing I didn't get was a txt msg plan since I have no need for it.
200 per month but have 5 phones. 2000 minute plan and never go over. T-mobile has really been good for the family. Three in college and we stay in cotact all the time.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
I have two phones on my account, they were in a shared plan but I changed to 2 separate so I could get the $15 Unlimited Email/BBM.
Me with the Curve 8330:
Bell to Bell $25 - 100 anytime minutes, 1000 evening and weekend minutes, unlimited calls to Bell cell phones and Bell residential numbers
Smartphone $15 - Caller ID, Voice Mail, 1000 text messages
Unlimited Email/BBM - $15 per month
System access fee $9.70
Fiance with a Katana:
Bell to Bell $25
Fun $20 Radio - Caller ID, Voice Mail, Unlimited Text, Unlimited Mobile Browser, Unlimited Sirius Satellite Radio
System access fee - $9.70
Total: $119 plus taxes. I get a bundle discount of $5 per month.
All told for our home phone, high speed internet at home, long distance, cell and satellite we run $340 ish per month after taxes for all of our telecom items...
I am waiting on the first Canadian subscriber to check in.
Rogers Voice and Email Plan is $45.00, 911 emergency fee 0.50, System Access Fee 6.95, brings the bill to $52.45.
The catch is the data plan is capped at 2 Mb, if you go over, it is $10 Mb.
Add in another 15% for taxes and you can easly run up a couple hundred bucks, easy.
Thats your first mistake, Rogers is horrible.. Ive never met a person happy with Rogers and they are all now tied up in contracts. Terrible service coverages and horrible rate plans.
Im not going to brag up telus or say that Im on the best plan, but I am happy paying what I do for what I get, this such:
650 anytime LD minutes
Unlimited Telus to Telus (huge all my buddies are on telus)
Unlimited data, test, browsing, email, basically everything is unlimited except my calls. I havent got my first bill yet since I got my blackberry, but its gonna run me around 150.
450 min. talk, unlimited SMS & MMS, insurance, unlimited BlackBerry data plan, =$79.00 a month. I have been a long time customer of Verizon as well. I also noticed after I got my Berry that I talked less on the phone and started communicating through BlackBerry IM, SMS, Or E-mail. I dropped my minute plan from 900 to 450 and was a very wise choice cause it saves me $20.00 a month. I was able to have CS check my talk history for the past 6 months and the rep told me I had not exceeded 250 minutes. A few friends of mine did the same as well, so check your average monthly usage and see if you really need all the minutes you may have. Could save you a few bucks...
