My wife and I have two 8330's and two 8530's that we will be selling but not sure what to ask for them.

They are all in good shape, have been in a case.

Also, they are all on Verizon.

One more thing, how do I change my device model under my user name to "Bold 9650"?

    Thanks in advance.

look around on the crackberry marketplace to see what others are going for. the 8330's arent worth much anymore. they usually go for about $50 or less in used shape. you can fetch more for an 8530, as they are a newer model. i wouldnt pay more that just over $125 for one used though.

To change your device info, click on your name in your OP and choose "view public profile" or up at the top click your name next to welcome. Your profile will open and you will want to view your "about me" section. To the right of each item is a pencil icon, click that and you can edit your info.

Thanks, I would be happy to get $50 for the 8330's.

A BlackBerry in perfect working condition is very valuable, to somebody that "had" a BlackBerry. Accidents happen and BlackBerry just die sometimes.

You carrier will have replacements available, for $500+. That makes $100 phone a great value.

For some, the Curve form factor is perfection.

lol, like RIM will ever pry my trusty Pearl of my hands for $15. That is a recycle fee.

I know Verizon has a program going where they will give you some money for trading in your old phone(s) for a new model - not sure if your contract is up or you can upgrade at this point though.

Go on EBay, log in then click on sell item. You can enter the device and it will give you the average auction price and the average buy it now price. I sold my Bold 9000 last year for $185.

Speaking from experience, the 8330 is a pain in the a** to sell.

An 8330 on BB's trade-up program is only worth $5, but when you select what device you are "trading-up" too, they give you an additional $45, so you can get $50 from the trade-up program.
