    Regarding a flagship device bought (offline, sim free, outright)

    What amount would make you pass up on an immediate purchase ? ( impulse buy )


    For me it's anything over �400 or around $640 US and $ 660 CA.

    Anything over 650usd would require quad cores. Other wise it is just a rip off. Heck even with quad core it's a rip off

    To be honest, I have to admit to being slightly brainwashed by all the Quad core CPU talk, because in reality, the other two cores over Dual core, are not being effectively coded for in the current apps or platform oses.

    That's why the Gpu is more important and vital to improved performance of the hardware for gaming and other media.

    Quad core CPUs just make big old android run as it should on Dual core chips but can't.
