    Quick question.
I have a blackberry curve and I just recently started using the blackberry messenger. I have an unlimited data plan as well as unlimited text, will it cost me anything extra to use the yahoo, blackberry and or other IM clients on my blackberry?

No, because it's all through data, which is different than a text message.

using ATT, you need to either use a pay client, like jivetalk, or the OZ messaging, if you want to try OZ, you can DL it right from your phone
    open the medianet browser,
scroll to and click on tones, games, apps.
scroll to and click on cool tools/apps.
scroll to and select community & photos.
    click on Mobile IM
click BUY NOW (price is 0.00) free download
then you have to click on Mobile IM in the dl window
and accept the dl and install it.
this one uses text messaging, as well as data, data for the buddy lists and such. With an unlimited BB, unlimited messaging, you will not incur any extra charges
