I'd say at least once a day average. I've got a passport with the BlackBerry case.

I don't recall ever dropping my Passport. I have dropped my EReader a few times over the years (3 times I think) but I don't recall dropping either my Passport or my Q10 before it.

Dropped it twice since getting it in October. Once from 5 feet onto pavement and no case. One small ding and nothing broken.

I dropped my Sidekick LX twice in an evening on a date. I was a bit nervous because the girl was really cute.

I dropped my MyTouch 4G off of a spin bike and the battery door popped off, but the phone was fine.

I dropped my HTC Sensation on concrete while on a walk and it shattered the screen.

I dropped my SGS3 on my porch because I fumbled the flip cover. It landed face down, but it was fine.

I dropped my Note 4 out of my gym locker and it was fine.

That's it for drops in about 8 years of smartphone ownership. The worst thing that happened to one of my berries was when I ran across a large parking lot in the pouring rain. My 9700 was in my pocket and got soaked. I took out the battery right away and wrapped the phone and battery in napkins and let it dry for awhile. I got the white screen of death when I put everything back together, but I eventually got it working again.

Rarely. I've dropped my Q maybe 5 times, no damage, I switch between a silicone case and an Otterbox Defender.

I dropped my 9810 once on pavement, was waiting on a case that arrived the next day. Didn't do any real damage but scratched the edges all to hell.

Haven't dropped my Classic yet... And my Q10 in 1.5 years of having it I dropped it twice. So that's 0.0037 times a day?

It is recommended that you do not use your device when you are covered in butter, lard or oil. Taking a call can also kill the mood.

Dropped my Q10 once in 11 months. Have dropped my Passport zero times since I received it two days after launch in September. No case on either phone.

Ironically, yesterday my Z10 fell off the console of the treadmill, landed on the moving belt and shot 4 feet across the gym. Must be luck as no damage! By the way, Google the words "23% iPhone cracked screen ".

Approximately 0.027777 times. It's really not something that is a daily occurrence for me.

...Though I've done it enough times to know that the Passport can take a beating.

Every couple of months I drop my Z10 and I have that heart stopping moment of 'please please please let it be okay' as I pick it up. So far so good.

However, I have a co-worker who is completely unable to hold onto his Classic. This is actually his second classic in less than a month. His first one he had for about 48 hours when he slipped on his stairs and the phone flew out of his hand and slammed into a wall. Wouldn't turn on so he got it replaced.

His new one has a bit of a funny screen flicker. Makes me think of the passport flicker from 10.3.1. But he's dropped it so often it's probably something loose inside. Lol.
