Great you thought to try. I'm a tad lazy, but don't mind stealing other's efforts.

I use keyo, because I always want to KO this guy http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...G93bi5naWY.gif

    Never asked me
In the actual logo "one" is lowercase but the "n" looks funny with the other characters: KEYᵒⁿᵉ so I modified it with an uppercase N: KEYᵒᶰᵉ this modified one sits more inline than the first: KEYᴼᴺᴱ but it might show up differently on different devices.

can't see it being supported for long, as Mr chen isn't interested in the phone business any more. They are just licensing the manufacturing and design of the future phones. It's a shame because i find the BB10 the best out there.

Really? I'm more worry about the future of the planet.
BB10 will be working, until your phone for some reason stops working. Swap if you really like the hardware of k1 or Dtek.
You sill have the android runtime for other browsers, after all certificates experies (in 2030 or something)

I thought about charging stand/dock for my Z10 to do the same... didn't find one and just bought a cheap clock that my wife can figure out too.

5 years, and I'm enjoying my BB10 phones more than ever, especially now that I've gotten rid of all the Android crapps. Thanks, KEYone, for being an awesome crAPP magnet!

My Z30 is just fine. What's up wasn't a BB10 killer. I have it working fine on our z's and Q's.
Can't see any reason to switch.

Lol this thread is still alive?
BB10's (and BBOS) "future" was announced about 2 months ago:

BlackBerry announces at least another two years of support for BB10 and BBOS users https://www.crackberry.com/blackberr...and-bbos-users

I’m hopeful for all those still using BBOS and BlackBerry 10. I loved both. With respect to a future I think they’ll hold out but only with hopes for BlackBerry Android conversions. Eventually they will need to shut it down and while happy, I’m shocked they’re promising two more years.

It's conjecture, but I think they are promising two more years because they have a few very important government clients who have not fully certified Android or iOS yet and who are paying for a certain level of support for their critical requirements.

You're using software that is already EOL and has been for some time.

You would have been better to use Ultimate Backup.

This maybe the case, but personally I have a hard time seeing this as a reason. If BlackBerry was supporting important Government customers they would provide security updates. I assume all of the security certifications for BB10 are void due to their lack of remedies for critical vulnerabilities.

I believe the EOS date is based on contracts for running the servers. One of the logical cost cutting moves for Chen to have undertaken in 2014 would have been to outsource the management of the data centers. I don't know if he did this, but I would have made this change. May not have saved money but would have provided a predictable cost framework. The EOL date probably equals the end of the outsource contract.

Agreed. We have already seen the contract for MicroTrend's BlackBerry Guardian plugin expire. Very soon (maybe any day now) the server for BlackBerry Travel and it's World Mate contract will expire and be shut down. Maps will probably be soon to follow. All of these services are based on server contracts that do not shut down suddenly without notice. BB will not announce each service shut down date but they already put out a blanket statement with that 2 year deadline.
