Default How many shifted from Android, iOS, or Windows? Just curious!

A week ago I bought BlackBerry Z10 and it's awesome. Earlier I was using an Android phone (which I loved alot).
It was a 2 year old LG phone and was running CM 10.1 and I almost killed it's 512 mb RAM which made me look for a new phone.
I always loved Z10 and when the price drop happened (India) I bought it immediately.
Even though my colleagues were mocking me, I didn't care.
So my question is how many people like me have also shifted to BB10 and how has there experience been?
    PS: mine has been awesome

I've been through Windows Mobile and then Android. I had a 8900 for a few months in 2011. I had a 9700 since early 2013 but gave that to my mother. I'm currently on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray while I try to find a decently priced 9790 in "good condition".

I left windows 6.1 to get a touchscreen and a keyboard when I got the 9800. Then went to the 9810 and now to the Z10. This phone is the best I have ever had or used.

I upgraded from a iPhone 5 to a Z30 and consider it an improvement in nearly every way.

FWIW, whenever I have to use an Android device in my house I get passed at how badly they such. On my son's kindle I had to download an app just to kill a misbehaving app. I can't kill them with the stock OS!

And this was the latest Kindle!

Kindle runs FireOS which is a forked version of Android. That's on Amazon if they took that ability away. Not that I really care, just saying.. the ability to kill apps is there on Android.

Had a BB 9310 in 2012 (OS 7.1, 2.4 inch screen) and loved it, except for typing on it, which isn't made for someone with "fat" thumbs. I endured though. (((LOL!!!))) Went to Samsung Note II after that in 2013 (had a suicidal moment I guess) and am leaving that behind (yes, with it's 5.5 inch screen and Android 4.3) as typing on there with it's auto correct is a total nightmare. I went last week to a Verizon store and played around on a Q10 and totally fell in love. I've put up with the Note II for a year, and today, FedEx is delivering my new Q10. Can't wait!!!

My previous phone was an HTC 8X running WP8. While WP8 is a really smooth OS and is IMO superior to iOS6 that I used at work, the BB10 OS is clearly a cut above the other two OSs.

I left the iPhone after 4 years and I could never go back. I need something much closer to a computer and the iPhone was really just an iPod with a phone. If that's what you want then great but I know it doesn't work for me anymore after using this Z10 for a year. Thank you BlackBerry for making such a great phone and OS.

Me! Android 4.0.3 to BlackBerry 10. Awesome, faster, less laggier. Still have a nexus 7 2012, although my Z10 is still faster.

Many of the posters in this thread are using the term upgrade, which I think is quite dismissive of the others. The other platforms all have their merits. I should know, in the last year I've had Android, iOS, WP8, and BBOS 7. And let's not forget that BB10 has its flaws too. That being said, I've usually found something about a phone that seriously annoys me with a phone within the first week. I'm well over a month in with my Q10, and other than being on my second case, I have no real complaints.

Bb7 to BB10. I tried to like Android but it wasn't a match for me (v2.3 at that time)

I've been watching BB10 come to life since 2010 when BlackBerry purchased TAT and QNX and I waited and waited and man, it was sooo worth the wait. It was better than I expected. It would be a terrible world without Blackberry.

Apple has never made a product that ever interested me.

I converted a lot of people to bb10 and most left iphone and legacy BB. Android folks seem happy and they're harder to convince (unless there's a deal like $300 z30)

It is so hard for me to even look at, much less try an android or an iPhone. Albeit I do use an iPad Air daily. Now if BlackBerry would make a tablet the size of an iPad Air with similar specs, I'd be satisfied.
