I barely ever use gps, the only time I use gps is if I don't exactly know where I am like during a bus ride to a new location and needing to know if I'm near the stop yet. It wont replace a car gps so I don't really know when it is used. It wastes far too much battery to always use aswell. Even though I barely use it, I'm still glad I have it just incase I ever need it (or to show off)

I love it and use it frequently! I went to a cardinals game last year haven't been since i was a kid. Had no clue where i was headed once i was off the freeway, booted up gmaps and bam got goingright away. found the casino after the game and the best route to the on ramp home!!! I love having it there just in case i can't find something.
I have for a quick geocache with Cacheberry. I have saved many locations for return visits. To find the best route to a new location. I use it almost anytime I don't have an itenerary saved in the car GPS for something specific. Use it with searches in Life In Pocket all the time too.
I guess if I rode a bus everywhere, I wouldn't use it much either. I think it's really more intended for people who are actively participating in the responsibility of where they end up.

Use it a lot! I have the Garmin Blackberry app. It works great! I travel for a living. Search whatever you are looking for: Kinkos, bar, wings etc. My handheld GPS got sold on Ebay the next day!

if your just talking about gps navigation, then i prefer to use the one in my car. however, i use the gps feature all the time for other functions. i use the gps with my weather app, google mobile app, poynt, and google maps
I use mine all the time. I am pretty horrible when it comes to directions and my Tour has all but replaced my Tom Tom. I like it, because I wouldn't always have the GPS in my car, but I always have my phone on me.
I sometimes use my GPS for fun. Just looking at places and searching places. And looking at places in the world where I never been! But I do use it when I'm lost.

Only time I really use it is when I'm testing out an app that makes use of it. I don't really do anything that requires me to use it so yeah, it's just a toy for me really.
I'm in a new city or town every day, almost. With my 2 GPS apps and my BlackBerry, I can find almost anything I need.
Recently, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, one of my favorite businesses moved to a new location. By using Google maps in Satellite View, I was able to look into the new location to verify thaty I could take my commercial rig in and park. By looking things over, I found a solution, went in and spent $12 on a dozen movies instead of much higher prices for the same thing. GPS is an invaluable tool for me.
Usable GPS is one of the many reasons I am a Sprint customer.
