    I've had a BlackBerry since my 900 side pager model and have continued to be a BlackBerry user since. My old phones were in a box which I opened to gaze at my collection until my wife suggested that I should place them in frames in my office. The only "dummy model" is the Q10 one since I had to edge up my Q10 to get the Classic but the rest are my past pride and joys.

    First was the Tour, then Torch (9800 & 9810), then a Bold, then Z10, then Q5, now Passport. So I'm on my sixth BlackBerry phone now and have always loved each BlackBerry phone I've had.

    Ever since I switched a smartphone it's been a BlackBerry, before that I had two different version of LG flip phones which were awesome for a flip phone.

    Six models total. Started with a red Pearl because of the color and unique form factor and because it was stolen replaced it with a trackball Curve (been replaced twice), a Style, a PlayBook, a trackpad Curve, and a Z10.

    I'm on my 6th. One Pearl, 2 Curves, Bold 9900, Z10 and now the Z30! Hopefully my next one will be a premium, high end ALL-TOUCH BlackBerry. I'm talking something like the Slider, without the slider mechanism and with everything under the hood as a Passport. Only by the time that happens, those specs will be outdated too!

    I'm on my sixth one:

    Curve -> Torch -> Torch 2 -> Q10 -> Z30 + Playbook.

    I have had a few 'droids in between too. Nearly went droid again but I couldn't imagine life without the BlackBerry hub...

    Z30 / STA100-5 /10.3.1.1784 (no more double-typing Q10).

    Oops I forgot the 8800 and the one I wish I could forget, the Tour I think that was the 9330 with the trackball then I was upgraded to the 9350(?) with the trackpad.

    First BB Phone was from work. 8800 series World Edition. Loved it so, after we got rid of BB.. Bold, Torch, Z10, current Passport and a Playbook.
    Same here, I worked for MCI when they bought Skytel so my first BB was really a two way pager with email and WAP. I don't recall the model but they replaced our Motorola two way pagers. Then we got monochrome phones which I think were 6800 and I've been with BB since...

    I cant remember or name all the phones i've had, the ones i didn't have were the all touch screens and the ones with sure-type. And of course a PP... But i think i had all the generations of devices...

    Wow Doment, nostalgic. You take me way back. Unfortunately my daughter would get hold to my old phones and be destroyed within a month or two. The one that lasted her the longest was the 7290. That thing was a tank...

    My personal favorite was the 8310, it was small but you got used to the keyboard. Then it was the 9900. It was hard to let go but the speaker went out and I had to have a headset to take a call...

    Good post...

    Thanks! My collection is a few business phones and the rest my personal ones. I know what you mean the 7290 was indeed a tank! I must have dropped mine heaven's knows how many times and it never cracked or broke. Back then they were built like phones that could be used and abused, today a couple dings and drops equals a new phone.
