How long do you guys think a Blackberry should last. Ive heard of a lot of people getting a new BB right when a new one comes out. But i want to know how long do you guys think a Blackberry should last?

At least until the contract is fulfilled. I know the 7290s and 8700s were workhorses.

It's a solid build and should last for several years at least. We addicts always want the next device or Operating System that comes out.

Yes i have the storm and have had it for 3 months and im going crazy i want the 8900 pretty bad

So get it... the 8900's build quality seems pretty good. I wouldn't trust it w/o a case or any type of protection. It's too pretty to let it get scratches.

This is in no way scientific but my brother has been using
a 7100t, which he bought when it came out. That was years ago.

I've been through 9 of them SO FAR in under a year...I'm not sure what the deal is, but the Lemons they keep replacing mine with seem to have more issues than the one before LOL
I'm good on my 10th BB Bold now... Cross your fingers that this one stays operational,

Haha yeah the storm was pretty when i first got it but that phone has had the worst luck sliding right out of my hands ive never dropped a phone so much

I believe a BlackBerry cab last as long as you want it to. Protect it properly, treat it respectfully, and replace the battery every 2 years or so, and it really can last for longer than youd need it to.

I gotta go with Duvi on this. At least the length of the contract. Eventhough
on one-year warranties, still should be good for two years.

Yeah Id think id have to say if you buy brand new then keep it to till the warrenty ends

The phones will last as long as we take care of them........However the earlier models did seem to be more durable
