    I'm on .247 and it takes like 5 minutes or more! Used to be a lot quicker on .162.

    Very quickly outside...indoors, it depends on the type of building...

    Are you saying it takes 5 minutes even when you are standing outdoors?

    Of course, if I'm outdoors the lock is almost instantaneous. If indoors, I'm lucky to get a fixed signal.

    5 minutes seems a bit much but sometimes my storm takes a while too, mostly depends on where you are.

    It's not a well constructed question. It only takes a few seconds if I'm outside and use Refresh GPS. If I am locking with an app that uses GPS, it depends on the app. That time is anywhere between a minutes up to 5 minutes (estimated).

    Sitting at my computer, it takes 5-10 seconds. Standing at a window or outside it's almost instantaneous.

    Still running .167...takes about 10-15 seconds outside and much longer inside--up to 3 minutes.

    It also depends on where you live...not just inside vs. outside...but mine seems to take nothing at all...inside takes maybe a minute...but almost never more...running .167.

    options>advanced options>GPS [ON] Menu>SAVE
    You can go back in and MENU>refresh GPS to force update.

    That will get your position on the phone. You need an application that can understand that location for it to mean anything to you. The most common use is on Google Maps. It will display your GPS location to 3 meters (15 feet) usually.

    yeah I've found the same thing. its not very fast when you're inside a building but almost right away outside
