I wanna buy bold but i wanna know how to tell if it's new or second phone?
someone told me to type something with buyr (something like that) and it will reveal how many minutes it's been used for voicetalk.

Is this the right way? any other way to tell?

If this is the way, can the minutes number be reset back to 0?

a "new" phone is something u buy from the carrier. these have 0 minutes of talk time and carry a warranty on them. any thing else is considered "used" because the carrier/ RIM will NOT honor any warranty, and u have no recourse if something goes wrong with the phone.

the buyr talk time cannot be reset, and from what i have read, is wrong for a lot of people.

u can get a "used" phone that is in "new" condition, but it will not carry the warranty.

    hope this helps!
