Hello Everyone,

I have few blackberry backups that i made a while ago from my old Blackberry phones, i want to Extract and view the backup file (.ipd) so i can view and add the old BBM contacts i had manually, i am told to use:-

- Blackberry Backup Extractor
- Elcomsoft blackberry explorer

So where exactly should i look for?

I did, with the same result, wait a minute, is BBM contacts usually saved in the memory card or the actual ipa backup file?

Old school was saving and backing it up to your sd card. Now its with bbid i believe

I remember saving it the old school style, so to speak, does that mean there is NO any other copy of the contacts in the ipa backup file?

You can use the DM to restore the backup, just bbm not the whole backup
