i downloaded the os7.1 update from bell and i deleted the vendor file what now

either download crackmem, follow its instructions and update through Desktop Manager or use the apploader from the same folder as the vendor file. (be sure you've deleted any hidden vendor files or else you wont be able to update)

nothing seems to work downloaded crackem opens up i click the update 7.1 then i tick the remove desk top managment vendor and then i click execute selection it says action completed then i click desktop manager on crackem and nothing happens

You need to find and delete the second vendor.xml file which might be in a hidden folder on your computer.

I believe the location you will find the other vendor files will be along these paths:

C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Applo ader

C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Make sure you have the setting to view hidden files set

if you delete the vendor.xml, make sure you permanently delete it and you also need to uninstall any OS installed on your PC
