My friend has a 8130 Pearl that needs some extra
device memory. She has tons of photos on the
phone itself, taken BEFORE she added the 2GB
microSD card. What is the best way to remove
the photos from the device memory and on to the
card? Thank you.
Roxio Media Manager, a component of the complete BlackBerry Desktop Manger package is the best tool for that job.
If that is not practical, you can use Media / Explore to move them, one at a time. The other option is to email them to an account you can access from a computer. Save them and copy them to the media card using Windows File Manager.
So once we hit media>explore, there will be an option
to select and move the individual photo files to other
places? I am unfamiliar with this problem, since I used
a microSD card from the beginning. I am sorry I do not
have the phone in front of me - this is scheduled to be
a Tuesday evening project! Thanks for the help!
Either move them all to the memory card using Roxio or delete them one by one. Keeping them on the card is nifty and you can always peruse them by connecting to a pc via usb.
