How do i know im surfing using wifi or internet

Hey everyone,

i'm new to the blackberry world so if my question seem a little stupid to you, please bare with me, as i'm a newie :)

well i guess im a little worried about my phone bill so that's why i want to make sure of something here.
how do i know whether im using wifi connection or the regular internet connection while im surfing an application such as facebook, opera mini, or gmail application.

or even if im browsing a regular homepage.

would appreciate some assistance in that

I believe the Wifi network name shows up on your banner next to your mobile network name when you are connected to Wifi.
