    Yeah. I have seen the ebay ads. But the ads say it runs Android so you know it is fake when you buy it.

    It might just be an inaccurate way of saying runs Android apps.

    Unfortunately a lot of sellers on ebay are not professionals. Rather amateurs who want to sell whatever they have. Their only intention is to sell it anyway. One needs to do a background check before buying such stuff. The usual sirens to check for fake stuff are - 1) The pricing is stupendously low than anywhere else online for the same product 2) features are different or not clearly specified.

    Are you serious? It's the first time I hear about something like a fake BlackBerry is hard to differentiate from the original one . First of all, check PIN and serial numbers, IMEI.
