    I wanted to add a personal signature to SMS on my Passport. Cant figure out how to do this.

    You don't. There's no dedicated spot to create a SMS signature like on email, unless you just want to create some autotext or something. eg: Every time you type 'tims' it will enter 'This is my signature'.

    It can be done via your carrier. I know that Rogers has that option.

    Why would anyone want to do this? If I got a text from someone that constantly had a signature underneath every text they sent my communication with them would be very limited.

    There used to be an app for Legacy devices called AddOnis that had that as a feature. Not sure if anyone did that for OS10

    Here's why: so many people upgrade their phones and neglect to restore their contacts. As a result, they ignore your text because they are unsure who you are. A simple name or initials in signature solves that.

    Or you could just text them that it's you directly.

    Could be they just don't want to text with you and the contacts thing is just an excuse.
