How do I take a screen shot without doing it on my BlackBerry? Like going through Desktop Manager? I've tried searching threads and can't find anything .

I'm not sure that you can. I don't know for sure, but I don't think that the connection is so like complete as to be able to take a screen shot through the manager.

Did u mean taking a screen shot of the screen on your bb? You can download the phone simulator for your bb model through blackberry website.

I mean so I can post on the "What does your BlackBerry screen look like?" thread on here? I put the CaptureIt on my phone but it came out a little blurry and I'm anal so I wanted to do it so it would come out clearer. I guess I'll just deal.

I think you can do it with JL_Cmdr or there are a couple of things in the Popular Downloads thread that can do it for you.

You will need to download Capture It to your berry. When you run the program, it will take a "PrintScreen" & save it to your photos.

Oops I missed that post, sorry...I'm curious why your screenshots are blury. Mine have always been very clear & larger than my actual screen.

This is a job for moderator Pete6's free utility, CrackUtil.

Among other things, it does a screen capture to MS Paint.
